Songs of Realization & Pith Instructions
Of Khenpo Gangshar Wangpo

Khenpo Gangshar was one of the principal teachers of Chögyam Trungpa Rinpoche, especially during the tumultuous years leading up to his daring escape from Tibet. It's clear that Khenpo Gangshar foresaw the dark times ahead for the Tibetan people, and so he taught the highest teachings openly and widely to everyone he met. We can see his direct and penetrating style of teaching shining through in the way Trungpa Rinpoche taught us here in the West. We will hear and read, contemplate and discuss, and practice these profound Songs of Realization and Pith Instructions of Khenpo Gangshar. We will also use some of the unpublished translations of compositions about Khenpo Gangshar that Chögyam Trungpa wrote in Tibet.
This weekend is open to vajrayana students (tantrikas) who have received the transmission of the nature of mind from a genuine teacher of the lineage.
